I wanted to blog today but I had no good ideas so I decided to steal this from The Sister’s blog.

FIVE THINGS

What were you doing 5 years ago?

1. Working at the phone company.
2. Living on Henry Street
3. Finishing my MBA
4. Going on my first missions trip to Suriname
5. Working with the youth at Hillside

What are five things you did today?

1. Hosted at Deep Water
2. Had a nap
3. Replanted my maple tree (after it blew over last night)
4. Had a good conversation with a long time friend
5. Worked out

What are five snacks you enjoy?

1. Salt & Vinegar Crispers
2. Skor Blizzard
3. Fruit & yougurt
4. Hot wings
5. Even hotter wings

What five things would you do if you were a billionaire?

For the record, I would love to be scandalously wealthy and I think I would do a great job at it!  Ha!

1. Travel for a year including through the Greek Islands and the Riviera.
2. Pick a couple of existing charitable organizations with strategic approaches to addressing international poverty, donate to them heavily and be on their board.
3. Buy a sports franchise.  Be obnoxious.
4. Set up endowment funds for education and micro loans both domestically and internationally.
5. Build a really tall, modern looking building downtown Halifax that blocks the sight line from the Citadel, just to tick off all the people who try to keep the city in the 1800’s!

What are five jobs you have had?

1. Paperboy
2. Umpire
3. City grounds keeper
4. Retail sales
5. Marketing Manager

What are five things you are looking forward to?

1. Summer
2. Getting my knee fixed (torn ACL, surgery in the fall)
3. Deep Water’s first baptism
4. Coldplay’s tour (hopefully will see them in Ottawa)
5. Seeing what life brings next.
